Rules:

- Decorate a 55 gallon barrel (barrels are either blue or black) to be used as a trash receptacle for the festival, using some form of permanent decoration.
- Use the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival, Sneads Ferry or Shrimp as the theme for your decoration(s).
- You must include “Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival” somewhere in the design.
- No advertising to be a part of the design. Designs must be in good taste and family oriented. Any entry deemed offensive will be disqualified.
- Barrels will be judged based on creativity, originality and overall eye appeal.
- All barrels become the property of the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival and will be used as a vital part of the Festival activities.
- You will have four hours for you or your team to decorate a barrel. Bring all decorating supplies with you.

Barrel decorating will take place on:

Saturday, May 9th, 2009, at 9 a.m., (rain date May 16th, 2009)

at the Sneads Ferry Community Center, 126 Park Lane, Sneads Ferry.
